Which branch does the work

Alfa-Fix Express, Kavanad is the walk-in counter for screens, batteries, charging ports and cameras. Most walk-in repairs there are finished the same day.

Screen replacement: what to know before you decide

• Part grade. Screens come in different grades. The grade is named on your quote before any work starts, so you choose knowing what goes in.
• Face ID. The Face ID sensors sit at the top of the phone, separate from the display panel; the small parts attached to the screen assembly are carefully moved across to the new one. Done properly, a screen replacement does not normally affect Face ID. If Face ID stopped working because of the drop itself, that is a separate fault, and we tell you so at diagnosis.
• True Tone. On many models True Tone depends on data from your phone's own screen being carried over to the new one. Ask about it when you get your quote.
• Parts notices. On recent iPhones, iOS may show a notice in Settings after a screen or battery is replaced outside Apple's own repair channel. The notice on its own doesn't stop the phone working, but some features tied to the original part, such as True Tone, can behave differently; ask about this when you get your quote.

How it works

1. WhatsApp us your iPhone or iPad model and a photo of the damage for an estimate.
2. Walk in to Alfa-Fix Express, Kavanad, or courier it from anywhere in India (typical return 3–5 days).
3. Free diagnosis. We confirm the fault, the part grade and the price before any work starts.
4. We repair it and test the screen, touch, cameras, charging and Face ID before handing it back.
5. You collect it with a 6-month warranty on the part fitted and our workmanship.

Before you hand it over

• Back up to iCloud or a computer if the phone still works. Most screen and battery jobs don't touch your data, but some repairs need a reset or a software update.
• Passcode and Find My. We ask for the passcode and for Find My to be switched off, because some repairs can't be done or fully tested without them. If you'd rather not share the passcode, tell us and we'll explain what can and can't be tested.
• Leave accessories at home. Cases, chargers and SIM cards aren't needed for the repair.
