What does Alfa-Fix Central repair?
Board-level and chip-level faults on MacBook, iPad, laptops, iPhone, Android phones, Apple Watch and AirPods — no power, no boot, liquid damage, and failed charging or display circuits. It also does data recovery, NAND/SSD storage upgrades and RAM upgrades, and runs a trade counter for repair shops.
How much does board-level repair cost at Central?
It depends on what failed on the board, so the price is quoted after the free diagnosis — no repair begins until you approve it.
Is there a warranty on board-level repairs?
Yes. The warranty is 6 months on every repair, and 3 months on AirPods and headphones. It covers the part fitted and our workmanship. Liquid-damaged devices, and devices opened before by someone else, are repaired on a best-efforts basis without warranty (Repair Terms, clause 12).
Can you repair a board another shop says is dead?
Bring it in or courier it for a free diagnosis. Central repairs boards at component level — no-power, shorted-rail, charging and display faults are traced under the microscope — instead of swapping the whole board. If it cannot be repaired, we tell you what failed and hand it back.
Do I lose my data during board repair?
Board-level repair fixes the original board instead of replacing it, which usually gives the best chance of keeping your data. No repair can guarantee it, so back up anything you still can before handing a device in. If the device will not start at all, ask about data recovery.
What is the difference between Alfa-Fix Express and Alfa-Fix Central?

Alfa-Fix Express, Kavanad (Kavanad Junction, near Matha Finance, Kavanad, Kollam, Kerala 691003) does same-day walk-in repairs, accessories and pre-owned devices. Alfa-Fix Central at Chinnakada is the board-level lab and trade counter. Both are open all days, 10 AM – 9 PM.
